Board Game Gumbo 
Just played Tapestry this week. It was more complex that I expected and it took me a while to get the hang of it. I was beaten pretty badly, but that is par for me on new games :(. Having said that, I definitely want to play more. As usual, Stonemaier sets a high standard for board game quality. I can see symbology carrying over from other games which is nice. The lack of timeline continuity in the tech cards caused me some angst but think it makes the game play more interesting.
